The astrophotograhers that I have had the privilege of meeting (primarily via email) are some of the most helpful individuals that I have encountered anywhere. No matter how elementary the problem, and as a real novice I have had more than my share, they seem to have incredible patience and  a willingness to walk me through each step that comes so hard won in this hobby. One of the most dedicated is Mark de Regt. He is also one of those individuals that can excell at anything that stirs his passion and astronomy is one. He is a great partner to have on this journey.
